Emily is an undergraduate student in UWindsor’s School of the Environment. She is doing her thesis in partnership with Nature Conservancy Canada evaluating a wetland restoration on the Marianne Girling Nature Reserve in Essex. Her research focus will be soil organic carbon, water quality, and invasive Phragmites australis to assess the wetland. Emily is also working as a lab assistant to process soil samples for an agricultural soils study.
