Introducing the HHL Indigenous Allyship Newsletter!

What does supporting Indigenous self-determination look like in a freshwater restoration research program and beyond? Dr. Febria’s CRC position and support from the University of Windsor has made it possible to formalize a commitment to advancing indigenous-led research and self-determination.  We are earnestly exploring opportunities to centre Indigenous communities in our research through the Indigenous Allyship Program.  In the past year, we focused our efforts locally at Bkejwanong Territory (Walpole Island First Nation) and across the Traditional Territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations here in the heart of the Great Lakes basin. Thus, read our first IAP newsletter here!
