Destiny is the project coordinator between the Healthy Headwaters Lab and NinDaWaabjig (Walpole Island Heritage Centre). She plays a key role in the development and coordination of our lab's research and collaboration with NinDaWaabJig and the Walpole Island Land Trust. She works between the University of Windsor and Bkejwanong Territory on research efforts to support the Canada Nature Fund for Aquatic Species at Risk, Ontario Trillium Fund – Resilient Communities Project, CREation – Bkejwanong Eco-Keepers program and our lab's Indigenous Knowledge Circle (IKC).
