Holiday Pause & Baa Maa Pii from HHL
What a year! The lab is officially going to hit pause until the new year for a much-needed time of unwind, reflection and rest.
Our team has spent most of the year apart and yet so much unexpected goodness has come from all of the uncertainty and challenges. From launching and completing two different graduate student-led field projects, research papers published and accepted, virtual teaching and conferences, to nourishing new community partnerships and engaging in opportunities to share our work. Our team experienced many ups and downs individually and across our communities, and we are grateful for the events that brought us together. The pandemic will remain a challenge we will continue to navigate together in 2021 and, as ever, we extend our deep gratitude to essential workers, sympathy to those who have lost loved ones, and remain optimistic for the year ahead. For those who are able, we wish all a peaceful pause and we look forward to sharing more stories and science from our lab and partners when we return.
