Indigenous People’s Day 2021

Happy #IndigenousPeoplesDay 🎉

Since HHL launched in 2019, we committed to continually growing beyond Indigenous land acknowledgements, and made a commitment to centre Indigenous knowledge in all we do, beginning with recruiting many voices, lived experiences and talents to our team.

Thus, our allyship program also evolved and was renamed the Ode'imin Indigenous Knowledge Circle, selected with care by the Circle’s members.

Ode'imin is also known as heart berry, or strawberry, in Anishnaabemowin 🍓 and represents this centering of knowledge at the heart of our program.
