Dawn is an undergraduate student in the Environmental Studies program with a specialization in Resource Management. As certified Water Treatment Operator in Training (OIT) with a previous Associates Diploma in Environmental Management from the University of Guelph, she is continuing her education to better understand the relationship between anthropogenic factors and the natural environment, and how to mitigate and adapt through restoration ecology and conservation.

Conservation, sustainability, sourcepoint protection are important to her, so she loves learning about the benthic factors involved in water quality through her Benthic Monitoring position at HHL!

Her favourite biomes are prairie grasslands (Ojibway!), and Wetlands (Point Peele Marsh!).
